How do plants move?
1. Tropism
❤Definition: Growth in response to a stimulus for example light, gravity, and touch.
❤Auxin (also known as IAA) is a plant hormone that plays a significant role in a lot of tropisms.
❤Auxin is a plant hormone generated in the stem tip which stimulates cell elongation and root development by facilitating cell division.
2. Nastic movement
❤Definition: The movement of the plant in reaction to an external stimulus whose direction is not dictated by the stimulus's direction.
